Well just left the deposit for my new (old) mate! I had been looking at an enforcer a friend had for awhile, and he's just been going through one thing after another with the boat, and I think he's into it for more then I have.... Thankfully, I came across an absolutely ridiculous setup... 25' Convincor with a 502 big block... so I'll be picking it up Thursday...

I'm sure some of you guys may know this boat... it stands out from some of the other mates in the area from what I've seen....

Got some more pictures of it here, and looking forward to meeting up with some of you guys!

Boat looks good, have not seen it around here. Welcome to the site

I know this boat has spent it's whole life in Maryland... I actually found out from a friend of the family (another convincor owner) who the original owner was, who painted it, what's been done, got almost the entire history which is good... This is a divorce sale... and the wife is the one selling it so doesn't know much about it. The original owner is actually another friend of the family... so it's kind of humerous how it all works out...

We got a ton of work ahead of us on the interior... boat has been sitting uncovered for 2 years and it shows trust me... but it's the perfect project for us considering we have a full upholstery shop upstairs in the garage (my father does street rod and muscle car interiors). Hoping I can turn this into a botm eventually :)

welcome to the forums kyain. nice lookin ride! i think it will stand out in most any crowd :thumb: good luck with it

Welcome to the Obsession! That is a great Convincor and cant wait to see how it turns out!

Me either... I just know it has a very high standard it needs to live up to for my father's expectations... Though he'll be doing most of the work for the interior... I'm only good with replacement panels and wrapping... when it comes to stitching seat covers I need him... I can show off a few more of our past and present toys though... though I wish I had better pictures of some of these

My father's current 32 coupe... still got a few things to finish on it... but we're also working on a plymouth duster that is all pro-street and caged as well too so it's slow going

Only digital picture I have of our old 37 ford phaeton... this was the centerfold article they did in street rodder magazine of it after it took top 25 out of 8,000+ cars in kentucky... Called home crafted because we did everything ourselves...

Some of the fabrication work I've done in the past... I'm a huge turbo fanatic, actually have two matching Holset Hx40's in the garage... might need to find some wet housings for them and chuck them on the boat :rof:

Regardless of all that though... I'm just really looking forward to getting out on the water with a new toy. I've been kind of burnt out on cars for awhile.. needed to change it up with a new hobby.

:welcome:
Boat looks real good. Nice you can do the interior that will really finish it off. Where you from?

Grew up in riviera beach, parents still live there... I bought a house up in Essex (right on the line of essex/middle river)... Be keeping it at rowboat willies since I have no room at my house for it next year, which I know you can see hart miller from there

Keeping your boat there will be nice. That puts you real close to everything above the bridge. Its just about in the middle and right off the bay. Ever need a suggestion on where to go just ask if your not familar with the area.

Welcome Kyain --- that is a wild looking Convincor you got there --- I love the boat..:thumb:

I have a feeling between you and your dad, there's gonna be a perfectly gorgeous boat when your finished -- although it's pretty figgin nice to start with.

Good luck and keep us posted as you enjoy your new mate.
