Ran 77.0 today

I have a 09 2400 pulsare long deck with a 300xs on it. Well I've been playing with the set up some and she is starting to come along. I changed to 19.5" set back and ran a stock 27 tempest 3 blade. I got 77.0 on the gps @6000rpm. and it was still pulling(ran out of straight away in my local river). I believe with a little more tweaking and a light chop I think I can get 78 and some change.

man thats gotta be fun in that big boat. how does it get up and go? Ied love to take one out in some bigger water.

Really liking the Check. Got it dialed in where she just lifts and flies. If you fly her to high she will just scrub off speed. Doesn't have any chine walk hardly at all. I was running around sweeping curves at over 70 and then I would trim her out a little more and fly her into the mid 70 mark. I've set this boat up with trim tabs cause I use this boat to go to the barrier islands. These islands are 10-12 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico. The seas are usually anywhere from flat to 2-3ft swells and slop. I just lower the tabs and just let her eat usually around 50-60 mph(wifey has "d" cups so she doesn't like any faster in the seas!!!!)

congrats !!!
Got any pics of your rig ??
Wish i was able to be boating..Lakes are hard now here, where are you located ?? :surf:

D-cups??? is she worried about them getting loose and slapping her in the face. If so, I could ride in the back and hold on to them in rough water for her.

Although that would be a good excuse, "I am sure my boat could go faster, but there isnt a jock strap big enough to keep me from bouncing around, so it isnt safe."

you're outta control!!!!. i think your cabin fever is already setting in.....

I've pulled a tube with three kids on it with no problem. Heck I couldn't even tell they were back there. I like the factory tow bar. I usually leave it off unless I'm using it.
