I would like to take a run somewhere if we could, maybe for lunch or something with all the boats. doesn't look like there is that much places to go on the magothy though. just something that is a 20 minute ride or something.

Drop, red eyes is wife freindly except bikini sundays lol;)
Bruce i figured that would be the next step to this process is figure what were gonna do. I want to ride or some type activity to do. Hopefully will have have smooth water and everyone can go for a cruise. I have a rope and tube that is always fun. I can also fit 4 more that have smaller boats if we want to run some where for fun.

I would love to do a run of some kind. But I realize I'm one of the limiting factors having a small boat so I'm good with parking it for a run somewhere if I can climb aboard with one of you guys.:thumb:

I'm in for Watermans or Red Eyes on Friday. The only thing is I will need to anchor the big boat or have a bulk head slip, since I will have the mate in tow. It's a little difficult to dock a 45' boat with another in tow, unless I can pull the mate along side, or have someone drive it separately. My wife will not drive either boat, so that isn't a possibility.

I will be anchored up with the big boat at Dobbins Island, so anyone that wants to raft up is fine, just bring some extra fenders. Hopefully it cools off enough at night, because I would prefer not to run the Generator and AIR CONDITIONING... The upper deck of the big boat also has a nice hangout spot with seating for about 8-10 people.

When I was there last, they had a fire on the beach and partied until around 1-2am.

Chestertown, Kent Narrows and Rock Hall are all just a short ride across the Bay, if the weather cooperates. Annapolis isn't too far either. I will make sure the big boat is stocked with all of the "necessary" provision before leaving Kent Narrows.

I am down for what ever. I have myself and two others going so I will have room for 2 if needed. Wouldn't mind going to annapolis or jellyfish joels.

Drop,,, Mine is small also as you know, So I will probably have to tie up for the big runs also.
What about skirting the shore line to Annapolis. Anyone pulled in there in lately. I have made that run in my boat but it was a long time ago. Docking may be a beatch these days...

I look forward to meeting up and putting a face to the screen names and the pictures of your boats!

Lets all hope for clear skies, calm waters and cold beers... the good times will follow...

Hey Jet, You know if this place is still open. Some sites say its closed but I don't know if that is for good or seasonal.

Looking at the comments I'm guessing its gone.

It is closed. It was at Ferry point Marina where I put my boat in. The owner of the marina upped the rent to the owner of the Tiki bar, so he bugged out. I talked to the owner of Ferry Point this past summer said he is going to try to get something back in there. Don't know if it will be by this summer, though.

Cross your fingers for a good day. All the boats can run across if its good. Probaly still can if they run behind in the smooth water we leave.

Things changed on my party slightly... My wife will not be coming, but I have a buddy that is now coming with me. She didn't feel comfortable staying on a boat for four nights with our one year old son. I don't really blame her... That just means I can drive a little faster:surf:
