I guess Im after some imput as to the value of the boat. It "seems" a tad high, seeing it sold for $2800 less then his frim price.

The boat has been for sale for a while, so I guess Im not the only one who feels he's a smidge high.

Guess im missing something. I read Roberts sold it for 37,328 or at least asked and the new price is 34,500. 17 hours later on motor. I don't see the problem. What am I missing?

I'd buy brand new for only $2800 more.....

I'd offer 20% off new price, make em squirm a bit. But then again, his note on it is prob 34.5k.

I talked to the boats owner, nice guy.

Says he turned down $32,000.

in this market if he turned down 32k hes gnna own it for a while. i mean if it was 37k new and now its used and hes not willing to take a 5k hit for the price of driving it off the lot then hes not being realistic IMO. everyone knows the depreciation a vehicle / boat takes when the status goes from new to pre owned can be substantial. its at a 13% loss at 32k......sounds pretty reasonable to me for a boat that is already a leftover 2012....

what do i know.....

I always say, things are worth what someone is willing to pay. I agree, I woulda snapped up $32K!

The search continues.

Thanks guys (and Bob from Roberts).
