SHOW ME THE HORSEPOWER!!!!

i havent seen to many pics of motors, so if you have any, lets see them. This is pics of my 540ci, 585hp. that i built about 3 years ago for my 98 251 convincor. runs awsome. might put another cam in it next winter. it runs my check to 82 mph at 5800rpm but just bought a 28 pitch labbed finished prop to try and hopefully get a little more out of it. thanks for looking, and lets see your motor:drool:

Looks nice ! Very impressive numbers. Are those Lightning headers ?
thank you and yes their lighting headers, i was going to powder coat them candy red to mach the boat, but i kinda like the blue, red and gray together, i thought i might keep it a little patriotic.

Heres what they see when I go by em. :thumb:

very nice, my brother has a merc 200 pro max on his stv euro, his motor is bone stock and the best hes gotton out of it was 95.2 on gps with just him in the boat. its a very impressive set up for what it is. hes talking about having some work done to it, but i told him to leave it alone, b/c it runs great and its reliable, what he wants to get done to it, means he has to pull it apart every 100 hours, from what he was told by the pros.

I wonder if Vinnie is still around. He had a pretty impressive looking engine. i think most of it was polished.

I was looking for a pic of blown milk check's 540 with a turbo and and bling bling to go a long with it.Its around here somewhere."still my favorite CM"

Out board guys keep in mind, his headers alone cost more than the avearage used 200hp outboard. That I/O stuff is VERY expensive.

yeh, i/o's are more expensive in most aspects, but its all about what you like, and i like nothing more than the deep throaty sound of a bored out, big camshaft, big block with 4.5" pipes out the back.(yes i said 4.5" not 4"). but dont get me wrong i like o/b's too. again my brother has a 200 promax on his stv, that i grit my teeth at when im wide open, and he passes me like im sitting still. hahahahahaha.
