" For Sale" (SOLD) 1997 Convincor 253

Everything is completely clean, fresh, and water ready for the duration of this season. Engine fires up right with a light touch of key. Idles smooth at 40 psi oil pressure and goes up to 60 psi with any throttle. Even these pics don't do the boat justice on how clean it really is.

Well other buyers strung me along and just bought a different boat over the weekend.

Price drop to $24,995. New boat arrives this week. Time for this thing to go.

Yes. Bit of a fixer upper but price was right. She comes home this week for cleaning.

Took it on a sea trial Saturday on fairly calm water and ran her up to 64 mph GPS with prop slip on 28p bravos @ 25%. X dimension is high on her and needs 5 blades to carry the bow. Should hit 70 easily once I reprop. Just high hour 502 MPI in her right now but they swing the 28p bravo I's right to 5000 rpm.

Sad thing is it really didn't feel that big. Guess it is just right then! Made mild two foot waves feel like dead calm water.

I believe they are. Not sure yet. One is labbed and other was replaced with box-stock version at some point. Can easily tell by the blade thickness. Another reason why I need new props! Somebody find me a set of 27 or 28 pitch Hydro P5X's!! haha. And so it begins......Will also be removing those stupid Corsa baffles exhaust tips quickly as well.

I will start a thread about the new ride. Keep this For Sale post cleaner.

Where on Lake Michigan do you Boat? Saginaw is on your User CP but you said Lake Michigan for your sea trial. Anywhere around Chicago, New Buffalo?

What an azzhat that guy was. I can't believe he had as much time to waste as he spent pestering me. Good Lord. Best part was when he kept texting me after I said it sold, he sent me a pic of cash wad next to a handgun.....classy! Then proceded to tell me checkmates are junk and he bought a Fountain....only 3 texts later to tell me Checkmates suck in the rough and thats why he bought a Formlula Fastech. He really didn't like when I caught his lie and questioned him. Called me a "stupid hillbilly" and that he is from the city and knows better. What a douche-weasel! RNGDVE saw most of the text convo screenshots!
