Summertime In Northern Michigan

where in "northern michigan" are we talking here? and yes i am still waiting for a PM from you to find out when you will be up this way to go boating:bigthumb:
 
Ross it would be southern Michigan to you Houghton Lake and a couple pics are from my cottage in Harrison/Budd Lake and after the 4th o July I will be ready to meet up at Torch Lake. We need to put together a Checkmate Bash, I see many many Checkmate Brothers in the area and we all know Torch is the most beautiful lake around or Higgins the second best lake. :cheers:
 
ive launched at that same one at houghton lake! have to keep a eye out for ya up there. we are usually out on higgins lake but get out on houghton quite a bit!

our cabin is on the north side of higgins, up to meet up anytime! we are up there most weekends!
 
Looks awesome! I was lucky to grow up in a similar place: boating or sledding 30 seconds off the porch. The only bummer is that you need a lot of toys when you can only get 4-5 months out of them...in a good year.
 
We will be at Higgins over the 4th and Ill be lookin out for ya. My place is about 30 minutes south.I dont usually hit Houghton. Very shallow for such a massive lake. Be safe and see ya soon. :cheers:
 
Is that the original windshield, and did you tint it yourself --- it looks really kool that way, --- I ask because I was thinking of tinting or painting the windshield on my mate, and was also thinking of a windshield slightly higher than my factory original.
 
Thanks to all who have replied. Kurster the windshield is stock and as you all know you can not tint any plexi / lexan glass so its all limo tint / 5% except I did my radius lexan pieces with black vinyl letter goods and nobody has ever been able to tell. I had it done professionally to avoid failure down the road. 100 bucks with a lifetime. I love this thing except the barrel seats dont let me drive standing at the wheel. I guess I need to buy the 43 footer.
