THE NEW BAJA/CHECKMATE/BAJA ????

I think that is correct, but it is not the smallest with the most hp. Single 300 or twin 150's according to what Kip told me last week. boatman

I really like these new seats! looks like they face forward or backwards. That would be great for fishing. Especially trolling.

Has anyone seen the price yet?

looks like it would be a cool boat, especially with the changes in the interior/cockpit that coop mentioned elsewhere.

is there room to walk around the center council of the boat? it looks tight in the picture above. it would suck if you had to step up on the edge to get around.
im sure theres room, dont think theyd build it without simple convenience in mind.

I'm sure it has room... The Baja did. From what I see the interior of this boat is vastly improved over the Baja version. I can't wait to see it...

SFX 250 with twin E-Tec 150 HO

Hey Coop, Does that boat at the show have a transom jack on it? looks like it from one of the pics I saw...

Man, some of you guys are AWFULLY tough on a company that's likely just trying to survive in this brutal economy. You're not paying the bills, like DS is. If he thinks having a bit of diversity in the line-up might generate additional sales, its entirely his call to go for it. Existing warranties on our Mates won't be worth sh!t if the company goes under. Also, kind of weakens our credibility when we then try to go and make useful suggestions/comments to DS, IMO. On the other hand, great to see you back in the house Bill, stirring up the pot a bit, even if by mistake (picture simile of the guy stirring up the sh!t pot).
