Waccamaw River S.C.

That river starts in Geogetown SC and runs up the coast if I remember correctly. I think it's a part of the intercoastal waterway as well so it's navigativable.

My wife brought a peice of property to my attention that is horry county on that river. I was just wondering if the river is boatable, what size boats, are there resturants etc on this river?

Where in Horry County? The river is boatable. If it's near the Waterway or Conway their are restaurants. Further up I'm not sure but it does get narrower. What boat do you have. Where are you used to boating?

the address says its Myrtle beach. 25 convincer, Cheasapeake bay and its rivers.

Looks like its right by oatbed island.

Oatbed Island is where the Waccamaw joins the Intercoastal Waterway. The Convincor will be good in that area. On the weekends that area does have a lot of congestion, but head south and the congestion will dissapate quickly. Very pretty river and the area between Socastee and Georgetown is one of the prettiest areas of the Intercoastal. When you get above Conway, the river starts to narrow to where my boat is almost too big. Let us know if you come down to look.

BTW The pink boat would look great down here! :)
