Karzrus, thats what I like about the 500's. cheap to buy, easy to find parts, and I think they are more fun than the big ones due to the flat bottoms! I would have no enjoyment with going 80mph on a pwc.

My wife had a 04 that she totaled off, she loved it, that's why we got another one, we had it 5 years and not one problem, your right the power isn't the best, but the gas mileage is great, she had the 5 speed manual trans and it was better than the auto we tested.

It still pisses me off it got wrecked, we paid it off a few months before it was totaled, but atleast nobody got hurt, my boy was only two months old at the time.

Never owned a pwc,the only trouble with them is that they have to be in at dusk.Nothing like cutting your boating day in half.
