Worse than I thought

I pulled the heads today to replace them with a set of small chamber heads and dang!!! Not good. Want to give a big thanks to Bill Gohr for hooking me up with some carb jets. Thanks for the help. Bolting on the new heads would probably finish it off. So this this close to winter its rebuild time. Any thoughts and advice will be appreciated. First time into a two stroke other than a weed eater.

Is that just a little aluminum transfer there or deeper scuffing? A little acid will remove aluminum from steel.

Deep scuffing. Top starboard 2 cyl. Scored pretty bad. Port side looks good. I've had the boat three seasons. Runs great just not as fast as it looks.

My advice, I know where you can get 245 hp of black horse power and everything to power it all, down to the foot throttle for properly less then 4 large.

Not only a hull, but a very well cared for trailer too! (Hull has a very nice brand name marine rated radio and amp that I paid $400.00 for 2 yrs ago and brand new holley red fuel pump $135.00 2 outings ago! (Hey kieth, just came a nice story I'll share 2morrow) no it dosn't envolve any ladies.

That's what we are getting. I love the outboard but something about a big block rumble on the water. Congrats on your new boat looks great.

Whatever date you're here. If it's a Saturday I may have to work. I get off at 2:00 at the latest. Oct 4th I have a wedding so that's no good for me. Have you and Mr F set a date yet?
