ZT 219 ?'s

Anyone got one out there? wondering what #'s I can expect with a 6.2 320hp MPI/Bravo drive, what's the best prop for it? how much fuel will it burn? anything you can tell me, thanks.

I’m pretty sure a ZT219 is what they called the 219 Persuader back when they starting making the ZT230 at the same time. It should run high 60’s with a Mirage Plus prop. The 6.2 gets better fuel economy then the 350.

getting a new boat john????

My Dad bought this one, his health isn't very good and he hates computers so I get to find the boat, set it up, work on the boat, put the lift in and take it out for him spring and fall, any maintanice that it needs, etc etc etc, basicly he pays the tab and all he has to do is go for a ride when he wants, I don't mind doing it all for him the last few years, it's the least I can do for him.

I'll post more pics when I get home, I went and seen it in person at Roberts Marine yesterday and left a deposit, it is mint, only 34 hours and loaded up nice with every option, I'll go get it in a month or so when the weather clears, it will be about a 32 hour trip to get it and I don't want to get caught in the snow.

All the lettering has been removed off the side and the boat looks dirty in these pics since it was shrink wrapped for 2 years and he just ripped it off and snapped the pics for me quick, it's all clean now and looks brand new, 06' with 34 hours always stored on a covered lift in summer, not one scratch on the bottom, looks like it's never been parked on a beach.

The horse head on the side looks wierd in the angle that these pics are at and it is in the gel, seemed everyone that posted about it on my wanted thread didn't like it, I don't mind it and for the shape of the boat I can live with it, anyone else that wants to bash the unicorn on the side will get a fat lip :rof:

I thought I had him talked into a 2100 but he kept going back to this one and I could tell this is the one he really wanted so when I seen the condition in person it was a no brainer, he hasn't even seen the new pics that I took and he told me to go ahead with it, new pics to come probably Friday.

I was wondering what the outcome was... Good to hear he pulled the trigger and moved forward with the pruchase. Best of luck to you and your Dad:banana:

Congrats to your Dad and you.
I did owned a 92 Persuader.454-330 hp w/bravo 1.(Black)Very solid boat, handles very well .Didn''t have GPS back rhen, but speedo was rated 75 mph and the needle was bouncing right past that mark.

Now, that is a nice boat. I don't mind the horse head.I like it. I'm glad your Dad and you found such a nice find. THANKS John for being there for your father.. Tell him I said, Happy Boating and enjoy the summer.. My son is always there for me. It makes us Proud fathers..:thumb:

I think you will love it John. As soon as you sent me those pics a while back, I fell in love with this one. I have to warn you, I/O's are addictive as hell ;) I can almost see you upgrading to something soon as well :poke:

Thanks, I know some of you fellas are in love with that I/O sound but to me nothing sounds better than a big egg beater turning at 6500, the only thing I'll be upgrading to will have a XS sticker on the side of the cowl :thumb:

That doesn't mean I won't enjoy this boat though, there is nothing on the lake like it and I can see myself using it quite a bit, mainly to blow by all the 80k wakeboard boats that think they are the shiznit:rof:

Thanks Don, my Dad has been there for me ALWAYS, when I was growing up we were inseparable and we're still close, really glad we share a lot of the same interests and we can be crazy together :bigthumb: I can see the first thing already will be a drag race coming as soon as the ice drops, :D or before the ice all goes out, that's more our style, we'll have to winterize that damn I/O when we're done though :rof:

Congrats,
Hope you guys love it and its your fathers dream.
I still think its a donkey though!:D
