Looks like a lot of area. Is there a "hot spot" where everyone will be? Tossing around the idea of making the trip. Its always better talking crap with people you have actually met:cheers:

Most people will put in, I feel at the north end. The lake is not that big only 520 miles of shore line. It will be easy to meet up

Nice site with lots of info. Maps, ramps, marinas etc. It also has lake laws, I noticed a muffler law. I never noticed mufflers on Reds boat so whats up? Do you really need them or is it not something enforced?

No laws enforced at all on noise, no speed limits, just some no wake zones here and their.

thanks for the pics , helps to get through the winter as i sit here at my desk and watch the snow flakes drop. looks like a great place to boat. hopefully someday i can make it there. thanks again for the awesome pics

We're gonna try and be in for it... maybe we'll even stop by SCT's house and look at that boat while its sitting on the trailer. I've herd its really nice.:D

It's not all that far for the Maryland, DC, and Virginia guys. It would not be a bad run if a few of us meet up and caravaned down. What say Keith, you thinking about it?
Looks like a fantastic area, Red. Might be to hot for those Great Lakes guys.

I ain't skeered... I'll just have to find a way to cope with the heat:cheers::cheers::cheers::sleep:

I'm thinking about it. Mapquest says its 8 hours, but pulling my boat I think it might be more. I would be more into it if I was rolling with others for sure. I already priced new tires and brakes for the trailer to make the trip.

Yea, I got close to 9 hours on Map Q from here. A group would be better in case someone has a break down or something. My axle, hubs, wheels and tires are all fairly new. I still don't want to set any speed records towing.

Really you should be an hour closer then me. But yes I won't run over to much pulling that big azz weight behind me.
My brakes have never worked!! So I figured it would be good to fix them and my tires look brand new except they are dry rotted. My ramp is close to home so I never need brakes and the tires sit more then they are used.

Its 8 hours for me and 10 hrs for nick. Well worth it, red is just one you all need to meet in person!! We are all addictive to hang out with so I have to warn you, you all might find yourself wanting to come down more than 1x a year!

I hear ya! Like I said I'm thinking about it. It would be better if we had a few going together for safty sake. We have some time to get it together and figure things out.

The only thing to hot would be the water,Who swims in 90 degree water :shakehead:. I have a brother-in-law down in Charlotte. Hell that might even get the wife intrested in going. (I'm sure I'd be driving while she be flying) 10hrs for me, over to Cleveland than straight down 77. Who Knows?

LKN is a great trip,i'm going to do my best to go.My work is the only thing holding me back.I think the odds of me showing up are still better than SCT and Dogschool's.......:poke:
