Entertainers

Does anyone know about the Entertainer model checkmate built? I'm looking at one but don't know much about them. They were built from 1979- 1986.

An Entertainer has a pad so it should run a little faster/drier than a similarly powered Starliner. If I could snap my fingers and make my Liner hull n Entertainer I'd do it in a second.

Nice!! Hard to find info on them, must be a "rare" boat!! lol!!

Robbie, you are just like those rock stars (Prince, Snoop Dog, Puff Daddy) that change their names! You have another boat project in mind?

Yes!! I sold the liner project to a guy in my hometown. He had more "parts' to finish the resto than I did. He suppose to check out the forum. I don't mind the floor and stringer replacement the boat just needs to be complete, motor interior etc.

There was one with a ton of potential on NJ craigslist for a while. Just sold recently. If I see anything I'll let you know.

Entertainer looks like a longer Eluder. They are nice looking boats IMO. Ive seen a couple online lately.

Rob B. Sounds like a new Hip Hop star.

I like them because they were available in I / O form, just not very many built and the few that remain seem to be poorly looked after. If I could find a blue or red one in great condition, I'd be all over it. Only reason my next boat will be a 2100br is that's what's available.

I got in contact with a guy selling his Entertainer. He was suppose to send more pictures Thursday evening, never heard from him. I sent another email still no response. Remove your CL ad if you don't intend to sell a boat!!:brickwall: Sorry for the vent, but the ad has been on CL for a while now.

Once 'Robbie' finishes up a few more boat projects, we'll have to start calling him Rob Lion :rof:

Way back in the day when I DJ'd my name DJ robbie rob the mix master. Only because there was a Rob Base.:D Back in those days we used turn tables unlike today were you can use a bpm (beats per minute) unit to mix music.

I remember just a couple months ago one of the members boatcrazy was trying to get rid of a white Entertainer with red trim and new uninstalled interior maybe not included for $800 bucks. No I/o could be filled in and hang a 300 on it. He just couldnt get time to restore it. Was a pretty nice project.
