Need Help please, what Year/Model is my CM??

Hi everyone. Hope your weekend is going well:cheers: So heres the deal, I've owned this boat for over a year and I'm still not sure what year or model it is. The DMV got my best guess and Hull ID . The HIN is CHK 39993E090....so that means its at least a 1990 something. Yet I've never found a pic of that year that matches my boat perfectly. I was thinking its a Pulsare but still think it doesn't match it exactly in body frame, etc. Also, the previous owner told me " it may actually be a 91 or 92 " which made no sense to me with the ID # but it threw me off none the less. It says on her " special edition" not sure if thats a custom job or something CM put out on their own. Also, i moved out to beautiful Colorado 6 months ago and left my girl back in Upstate NY ( the boat not my real girl). So I've put her up for sale on CL. i really don't want to sell the boat. If it doesn't sell by the end of the summer I'm flying back to NY and hauling her over to CO. over the winter some issues happened while i was gone. she has a slight crack on the transom:sick: and a wire on the tilt pump rusted away. besides that i love the boat. What do you guy think? Keep her? Sell her? Its such a sweet boat! Any info would help since I'm pretty much confused overall. Thanks in advance guys!

Ok i should also clarify that it says pulse 280 on the side of the boat but why does it look different to other models when i look it up?:bounce:

It is a Pulse 210, it was built in May of 1990 for the 1990 model year. I know, because it was one of the last I did before one of the times I quit.

E=Month of manufacture. The 0 after that is the actual year built. Then the 90 is the model year.

A few months up the road after the year switch it would read something like= H091.

Thanks guys.....I haven't seen the boat in months so maybe I'm just mistaken and it does say 210...... One more question. So what do you think I could sell it for if I do sell it? It has an 87' Evinrude 225 on it. No idea the hours on it but it's worked fine for me so far. I might just put it up on this site to see if I get any interest. .......man I hope no one bites on it but my gf is kinda pushing that we just sell ot

This is actually my old boat and Coop is correct as I have talked with him about it before. It is a 90 Pulse 210. Was a great running boat with my old 250 Vmax on it! It did have some issues but a big part of me wishes I would have never sold it. It was a great lake boat with lots of interior room for when friends wanted to join on the water!

I thought the boat looked familiar! I should've bought/traded it from you when we were talking about it, oh well hindsight is 20/20!

If the price was right I would buy it back! But with the distance and all it would have to be cheap...

I'd keep it. It's a nice looking boat with room to take friends out for a day of boating. I'm a BR guy myself and I love them. In time the gf will come around. It's kinda like a motorcycle, everybody loves them, but few own one.:thumb: Jim
