Fastest O/B CM ever? 100?

I know there are posts about the fastest checkmate and fast pulsares, but which hull is the fastest with an eggbeater on the back?

Is there a small CM out there with outboard power that has broken 100?

Modified or not...

I'd love to strip my 2400 down, swap out a 300xs and see what it can do. 77 seems to be the mark set by Wildman, but the hull has a lot more in it. If I'm going to approach the 100 mark again, it is going to be in I/O power, but I have more fun with O/Bs for less $.

Once I finish the necessary upgrades I hope to have a shot with mine but I need a LOT more hours behind the wheel at speed to get comfortable with the boat.

Still need:

Foot throttle
hydraulic jackplate with less setback (currently 8.5")
noseconed lower
bigger cojones

Best speed to date is 86.1 with an Allison cut 29p chopper at ~6500rpm.

75- 4 stroke

check out my 75 on a classic 21 enchanter. one guy said wow ive never seen a low water pickup on a 75 - 4 stroke

no fun

unless the bay is in a total whiteout condition of chop, need a good double flag small craft advisory before you bore yourself with this:o

pokomoke sound

32 degrees f, nuclear sunset, january. glad we didnt hit no ice on the way back from tangeir. didnt get any crabmeat that day, but i had a bushel of the most beautiful oysters you ever seen. took them to seaside & dropped them under the dock for 24 hours, and turned them into seaside salts. 3 oysters battered and deepfried was all i could stuff in 2 peices of bread. ate oyster sandwiches for a week. thats watts island in the background, just out of site of tangeir. took us 10 minutes to fly back, froze to the bone, but all had a smile froze on their face:lol:

GW,
I found out thru Mike @Checkmate that my Enforcer was built to handle twins. He sent me the documents along w/ the new decals. I basically have a OB hull that CM closed the spashwell added a sun pad and beefed up the transom.

You need to find another motor now.

I think twin 2.5 280s would do it

280's are cool, but on a big hull, you need the torque of a 300 with 3L displacement (plus the efficiency is unreal).

Trust me on this, the weight difference is a non issue.

Obviously the purchase price$$$ is always a concern, but if you have it$$$ go with the 300XS.

Nice boat, you basically just picked up a Pulsare 2400 for a lot less money.

HD

Were twins ever rigged on the Enforcer hull? I think twin opti 200s would be sufficient. :D

I don't have room with my motor well on the 2400. 300xs would work, 350 Verado is too heavy, I think, but I'd be happy with it.

Somebody has to be first with a 350 Vrod though. Anybody know how the Ocean Outboard 2400 with the Verado 275 runs?

Hmm, Tangier Oysters sound good, but the crabs suck this year in the Rapp. Couple of Tangier crabcakes sound good to me, but its been blowing too hard to get across the bay for the last couple weeks.

I think someone needs to try the Verados too. A 350 Hp supercharged 4 stroker would have gobs of torque to move an Enforcer....Imagine twin 350 SCI's...that would be wicked but it would take one heck of a bracket to hold them

Ok, nevermind. Just did a google after I posted and it appears it is available. Has one been rigged on a bass boat yet?
