Waiting on NAPA to get my acetone order in, so I have some time to post a few pics to play catch up here.

Tons of silicone was packed into the deck joint at the transom.

Right now, I just hope to heck NAPA has at least some of the acetone I ordered in on Monday. Seems they don't stock very much anymore around here with the downturn in boat building.

So I spent part of today in the cockpit of the boat working on prepping it to spray when I do the deck. So the weekend wasn't a total loss, I just didn't get what I planned done. :brickwall:
 
I may be just a little too anal here about something that will be covered probably by some aluminum trim.

Still have to cover the trailer, mask from the bottom edge. Wipe everything down. Cover the motor well.

Then when the sides are shot, cover them, finish working the deck so it is ready to gel.

Here we go again, a year later and its "ready for paint"? Time to get moving, glad this isn't my boat.

That's what happens when you work a regular job that runs 8-16 hours a day 5-7 days a week. Today was only 14 hrs, so I had time to post these. Also why this is my last restoration for anyone but myself. Had I known, I wouldn't have begun the project, but it's hard for me to say no sometimes.
