100+ MPH CHECKMATES 100+ SPEED (Nominations)

Just to reiterate Red's previous statement (not that he needs my help)

Please do not post any here-say photos of boats that may have ran over 100. If you post a pic of a boat that runs over 100 you better have proof threw links to other sites if you are questioned...

See I can read!:D

Red, love the B/S meter....need one of those in my office !!!! hey whats up with your avitar....or are you just changing because of the inaguration !!or how ever you spell it !!

I assume the BS meter is directed at the Omaha checkmate. Ah, the lone self proclaimed arbiter. The feeling is mutual. I seem to have missed the notary public on your claims. Anyway, don't take this as a defense of my post, just further enlightenment. Nitrous is standard operating procedure for those hi perf guys in Omaha. That boat out ran an Allison Super Sport / Merc 280--not an easy task. The Checkmate was one of a series of 100+ mph rigs for the owner. The surface drive was a Merc BlackHawk. That Checkmate ran roughly 10 mph slower with a bravo. Yes, you assumed correctly the driver/owner had skill and cajones. The GPS says what it says, multiple times.

Since Omaha is not far away from your neck of the woods; get verifiable names; stats and pics...... then post. Better yet contact the check owner and see if he'll post.

Agreed.

Anything is possible....Try and get some proof, as I would love to see it.

If so, you are right MSMILE, those must be some big KA-HON-AS!

I think Red is just trying to keep the thread factual with viewable back-up (proof). No harm intended, Red is still a little pissy over the "working for BAJA" thread. LOL :poke:

heresay...........contact checkmate242 on this board, if i remember right he was triple digit a couple years ago. I dont have proof but it his boat and his claim.
Met him in Michigan at Smoke on the Water couple years ago, he had a nice set up!

I read threw some old post somewhere awhile back and that checkmate 242 rings a bell for some big numbers. I will try to dig the info up.

No hard feelings here I just speak whats on my mind. If this so called boat can run over 100 pics must be out their. And if this owner puts a lot of boats over 100 he must be known to other boaters. Other boaters talk on sites and we live in the big wide world of the net now. So with out names and pics and proof or links to another web site. I rule this "here-say"

WOULD HAVE COULD HAVE MIGHT HAVE SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAVE

yeap...I agree, when I was into jet boats years ago...there were so many 90-100 mph jets that when we started using radar guns and then GPS came out...there were many a hurt feeling !!! so what red is trying to do is great....with out all the oh yea whats his name's whatever runs 108 !

B Red. I rule your entire opinion heresay. Remember, my opinion is the lone self-appointed arbiter. What's good for the goose... I'm still waiting for the notorized stat sheet and until then all your claims are pure bunk. Do you really exist? I fail to see how any pic could show a boat running a hun or not. What ever happened to putting the best construction on everything? In the words of Ronald Wilson Reagon: "Trust and verify." If so inclined, call an Omaha Hi perf shop. Yes, the web makes the world small. It should be easy to find. The burden of proof lies with you (if you exist) and not me.

As for the Checkmate in question (not from my end), the rig/owner was involved in a accident which required governmental and civil legal action. The government's case/penalty is resolved. I don't know the status of the civil side and feel its unwise to get real specific with names and such. Your thoughts are probably, "Well that's convenient." I assure you, the accident was not convenient (read: worst possible outcome).

The gps (truth detector--humbler) says what it says, multiple times.

MSmile- I think BigRed is just trying to verify beyond a reasonable doubt that any Cmate listed on this thread runs over a 100+ mph. It's nothing personal towards you or the gentleman that owns the boat. But you know how it is on these boards. Guys brag about a cousin's buddie's boat that runs over 100 mph............. even though it is a 16' Bass Tracker w/ an old inline 115 Merc w/ an aluminum prop that is missing part of one ear!

I've heard rumors about your buddie's boat for awhile. Wasn't there an accident? Is the guy OK?

Take care-

BR--notorized proof--still waiting..and waiting...

SCT--"Is the guy OK?"---"(Read: worst possible outcome)"

If BR is so concerned (and civil to boot!), as was said by another earlier, small world, easy to google unless BR prefers to yap.

I was hopin to see some fast boats on this thread, but its turnin into a bunch of BS!!!!

i agree with red here, this thread is for documented 100+ boats... end of story!!!

my friends uncle's-neighbor's-sister's-pet hamster's original owner's-friends-brother in law's-cousin's boat goes like 204 mph!!!!!! then it has like a 3000 shot of nitrous then it goes like 500 mph!!

isnt the internet great??? i can say wahtever i want!!

too bad nobody gives a rats- @$$ !!!

You know been into fast boats for many years, worked on a drag boat crew years ago, unblown gas hydro and now work with the annual radar run on the potomac now, and this is why we do this.....if you have a fast boat, and are not afraid to see real #'s posted/regersted...come on down in october !!! I'm not trying to piss anybody off but can't stand heresay when it comes to how fast of how quick !! hear that crap all the time..and i can assure you that there are not many more than a handfull of checkmates out there that break the 100 barrier, anybody that does it, my hats off to you because you deserve all congrads I can lay on you because i do know just what a feat it is. On the flip side of the coin i'm sorry about any accident/crash the guy was involved in as I'm truley sorry...but without something to back it up, it's just more talk with no walk....now with proof I'll be the first to offer congrads to the fullest !! Rob

LISTEN HERE msmile "PUT UP OR SHUT UP" it does not get no simpler than that. I herd enough of your jaw flappin about your brothers friend uncles first cus last booty calls boat that ran over 100.

Follow the rules of the thread or don't post

1 no hearsay boats
2 pics
3 proof or links to other sites talking about the boat

All the boats I have listed are known boats on this site and have proof with backing threads that I can prove with other members agreeing.

You have not provided anything but flapping of your jaws of a hearsay boat.
