100 MPH PULSARE?

Yes, 1.62 gears. I'm running exactly 10% slip. I'm also going to put 50 lbs on the passenger side for better balance.
 
Pulsare 2000 with Opti 300XS

Has anyone set up a Pulsare 2000 with a 300XS? Kip rated this boat for 250, even though a 300 is the same weight. I am thinking of upgrading my 2005 225. Would the boat handle the speed? Would need another HP rating plate to be legal.
Any thoughts or experience?
