I need to replace a sensor in the distrber cap before it will start it only cost 65 to fix just ain't had time to doit. Put new prop on it this winter.

For once, the roll is reversed. I really love spending your money this time :D

I do like the idea of buying a bow-wow rider and parting it. You would get the trailer, motor, and drive in one shot. Down side is $$ all at one time.

I'm sure your looking for revenge when it comes to spending my money now. I think buying a setup and parting is the way I will probably go. :poke: I'm sure there is plenty of work to perform before I need to worry about the driveline.

Looks like a project but after some cleaning it probably wont looks as quite as daunting of a task. I would say that it is going to need at least a floor replacement judging by the home-made driver's seat base. Also missing one engine mount.

Wonder if the radio still works? if so the hull only cost $100! Looks like all the gauges and rigging are still there.....that will save a bunch of screwing around/little pricey items to initially get her going.

So how long before you take possession? Are you set up with a shop that will allow you to bust a-- on this thing all winter? Do you think you're going to re paint the entire boat? If so being that you're a body shop manager I'm sure it will turn out nice and won't be your average design

I will pick it up probably late sept. I think I will bring it home as I don't want to spend extra time at work. It will probably get a complete paint and hopefully I can get my suppliers to donate most materials. Don't know how I will want the paint done yet, that will have to wait until that time comes. It will be something custom, I can't leave anything stock.

It would be sweet with YFs 383 donor motor.:eyecrazy:

yes it would, but I don't see that happening. he's not looking to het rid of the 383 and with the money he invested I probably couldn't afford it. I'm am watching for a junk boat with a good 350 and drive assembly in it.

Loaded up and ready to roll. This is going to be a lot of work but will be worth it in the end. Thanks again for the help spencer. :thumb:

No worries Dave! Glad I could help you become boatless no more:bigthumb:... and that the trailer swap went as well as it did:o Have a safe ride home

Some jerk off in a boat was tailgaiting me for 11hrs back from Jersey.

Heres what the hull looked like when I got it home

and after a quick buff job

I think the sides will clean up nice but the deck is shot and will probably need a repaint. I will try some more wetsanding and buffing but it appears too far gone.

That guys tailgating was in a Checkmate which is apparently faster than a GM truck so you shoulda got out of his way! :) Glad the sides cleaned up nice like that for you. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Looks good Dave! I knew you wouldn't be able to help yourself once you had it home:thumb: Did you clean out the interior yet and access the damage?

How long before it gets kicked out of the shop?
