" For Sale" 1988 Checkmate Starflite -project-

Logistically having a hard time getting the boat close enough to pick up.:( Trey figured about $500+ worth of gas one way to get there, plus motel and eating.:shakehead:

how much will it cost to just pay a shipper? when I sold mine the guy decided to have a shipper from his town pick it instead of paying me 500 to me him half way.

Talked to John via pm, he only goes to Iowa which is east of Josh. Do we have any members in Iowa?

When you PM'd me I didn't know you wanted to get if to YF's area :poke:

I thought you were thinking south, sorry it took me so long to get back to you btw, we are on holidays and all I got is my cell phone, just got some computer time now, if you guys aren't in a hurry I can get it as far as Bristol, IN, I think thats about 4 hours from Brian, Josh will have to find somewhere with a loading dock or fork lift somewhere in ND that we could use, Bismark maybe?

Unloading it in IN isn't a problem, I got that covered, I would need proof that I was doing it as a favor because me being from Canada am not allowed to pick up and drop off in the US, something about taking work from you guy's  :rof:

Thats around 1000 miles I could save you, I just don't know when I could do it, I've been getting around 4 Iowa trips for every 1 Indiana trip, I put in a request for IN trips before I went on holidays because its a farther run and I'll need cash after 2.5 weeks at the lake :D

If your not in a hurry I could make it happen, keep me posted, back to work on the 14th

Thanks John!!!:thumb: That's doable!!! Trey (caddman) wants the boat, I'm helping with getting it to YF88's place. From there either myself or Trey will pick the boat up and bring it to SC.

I'll just throw out there I'm in Northern VA and travel to the Charlotte area from time to time. I'm 9 hours from Cincinnati.

I work in Charlotte so that would help as well!!! We're gonna get this boat a new home eventually!!!:thumb:

The mileage on the boat is going to be extreme... Lol... Wasnt it in Florida? That would be Ohio - Florida- South Dakota- Ohio- South Carolina? I might have seen more of the US than I have!!! Ha ha!

That's why I got mine. Wanted a Flite ever since I was a kid in the mid 80's and watched them tearing up the lake. I remember seeing some open bow versions too when I was a kid and with a family now I scooped mine right up.

What your setup and speeds you getting? i guess i need to start researching....lol.. I still want it here before I dig to deep...lol
