2004 pulsare

One of the car sites I used to moderate on played no games. Price and location in the title, good description and pics in the body or the ad was removed. Not saying there's enough of this going on here to do that but it shows we're pretty lenient.

Remove ad throw me off website I don't really care either way. I should have waited till I had more time to post a better ad and pictures Shuda coulda woulda

I understand but you guys just don't let up. I was on this web sight 13 years ago til a couple of years ago . I forgot my password and returned under a new name. I' m 64 years old and am absolutely to old to put up with a bunch jerks with nothing better to do than **** with people. Sooooo good buy losers

Hey I feel bad for the guy. Ive been on here a few years and still cant post pics . I would never put my boats up for sale here as my ad probably wouldnt be good enough or tire kickers wasting my time. Im thinking there is a reason there are 11000 members and about 50 active. I never really liked the bully type.

I really don't care how incomplete an ad is because I can always call/txt/email for more info or pics. But, those short nondescript ones can leave me thinking "not serious". Like I've said before, if you already have an ad on Craigslist or someplace, a link to it is easy enough to paste into a forum site.

I don't think anyone's trying to be a jerk, just giving a hard time. Gotta have thick skin around here sometimes.

This is a good site all around, and it will sell a boat for you I know first hand. I have been toying with selling my 230 on Craigslist and locally and not ready to put it here yet as I know there is a good chance negatives will be posted. Guys should just PM or contact the seller directly instead of replying chit like "the price is too high" or "the graphics are gay" right in the thread for all to see.

I hear you, but this site is pretty tame and well moderated compared to so many others. This is the only site I fill in as much personnel info as I do.

He's not much older than me or many of us here either.

He didn't even put up any way to contact him? or more info, I guess you could have P.M.ed him, but that's out now.

And I still think Sippy was calling Dave the troll.

Any site about a small boat manufacturer is not going to have very many active members, especially if you keep the idiots out.

A more complete or proper ad would get moderated. You could PM the Mods here to clean it up if your add was getting negative posts, see the link.

IMO The thing here is,
When you come here unknown and post a lazy ad your going to be called out on it theres alot of scamming ads.
Then theres the ads that are so poor, one can only think the boat was taking care of the same.
If you really want to sell and want a buyer to have trust in what hes reading give it some effort and don't do the above.

Hope thats not bullying. Would hate to have someone run to there safe place.:rof:

But this post has been bumped plenty for him to get seen. lol

hotdaddy27 made an appearance! Man, I've missed you...and gwcpa...you guys used to hang out all the time on here. Come back guys!

Hey man...I know we came off the top rope a bit, but talk to Rob B. He'll clean up your thread and remove all the peanut gallery chit chat. Also, send me pics at samnesius@yahoo.com and I'll post them up for you.

Bully was way too nice of word Keith. I see the point but a pm to our brother would work pretty well. Alot of good guys have left here over the bs. Who here bitchin was actually interested in buying this boat . Give the guy a break is all Im saying. Ribbing a guy is one thing but an insults an insult.

We were just having some fun. Please don't take any of this too seriously, it's just the Internet after all.

I thought it was all ribbing. I know I was having some fun and pointing out what the ad was missing at the same time.
This thread is tame compared to Power Boat Swap Shop.

I sold my 235 on here by only mentioning I might put it up for sale. I had 4 people contact me from here with no add at all. The guy sounds real happy and he is enjoying his time here I am sure. I actually like a short ad as it helps weed out the prop lickers haha( people with no money), less competion for the buyer. A 2004 Pulsare for 13k Im sure he will have no worries moving it to a serious buyer. Go luck to you Igonxs.

buying and selling

This guy needs to grow some skin. I had more than one person contact me about the convincor outboard that droptop bought because I had posted that I went and looked at the boat. Problem Child(I think) went and looked at a starflite for me in Michigan 600 miles from my door but only 50 from his...I bought that starflite, fixed the overheating problem and sold it for a nice profit. I sold it to a member who has never to that point posted on here, just told me after we made the deal that he knew the boat from this forum and if I gave him any bs story when he came to buy it he would've walked. He wouldn't even let me drop it in the lake a mile away to test it. He trusted me due to this forum. My point is that this forum has a few guys that are on here all the time and we kind of look out for each other and if you come on here looking like you are selling a piece of junk or you might be a scammer you are going to get called out. That is what is great about this forum. That being said if anyone is interested in a checkmate within an hour of the twin cities let me know if you want me to look at it for you, I love looking at, buying and selling boats and don't need much excuse to go shopping around and kicking props.
And that's all I have to say about that.

Yes I remember looking at that Starflight for you out in Lapeer. Wish I would have bought it when you waited a year to go buy it lol. It was a nice boat for 3k . I still want a Flite for the lake home I am buying.
