2011 2400 BRX W/Verado...

im not sure what poor soul would opt for the verado over an opti, but whatever. Those Verados are good 'toon motors and for the water patrol

I can sell one with a Verado WAYYY cheaper than that.

I was actually waiting for you to comment on this one! I figured you could smoke that price.

What, if any benefit, is there with a Verado. I can't really see one except it might be more quiet? Top speed...Opti. Hole shot...Opti. Price...Opti? Weight...Opti. Resale...Opti.

I'm not a fan of blue, but the boat looks pretty sharp. Haven't seen any of the "circular" paint schemes come out of your shop...I'm guessing you're not a fan?

I am not so sure that the Opti will take the Verado on the hole-shot, but top end will be the Opti for sure.

I have been on one boat with the Verado and it was a BEAST out of the hole. Smooth as well. Both motors are quiet, but he Verado is just about silent.

Pretty cool boat. I like the graphics and the motor option is different.

WOW I had to read that price twice. Go to Wildman's site and look at his price on a 24' with 300 XS ... sorry but I had to say it. Are they a Check Dealer they are only about 40 miles from me ?

The Verado is quieter, but that's the only pro I can think of. I like those graphics. I just haven't ordered one yet. I heard they got a couple bigger I/O boats. This may be a newer one they just got.

Hi Randy... FYI that same package at the Toronto Boat Show was $73,000 CDN + 13% HST. I know I would be comin to see you if I were in the market especially with our dollar where it is now !!

How much is that is U.S. money? Doug at Checkmate told me that there were two 24BRX's sold at the Toronto show.

That's about $73,710 American...Ouch on the HST.

The more I look at the boat the more I like it. The blue is unusual and really pops. I really like the BRX. Great looking boat. Interior looks huge and the boat looks like my family of four could be quite comfortable...

Anybody, wanna guess what the top speed with that Verado is?

That dealer at the show said he tested the same package in Florida and got 72 mph Hey that,s almost $1000 per mph ! but he said he could talk to his passengers
Hey randy when I asked the dealer if he had sold 2 he said they sold 1-24 and 1-21 and that was on Friday

That is great news!

Keeping the brand going and it shows that some people are willing to commit to spending large money again (large in my book anyway;)).

A ton less than $73,000 +13% HST !!!!! and we would have to come to sunny Florida to pay for it Hey Randy, if my LOTO numbers come in on Friday I will see you on Sunday! :thumb:

Cheers

Yeah, I just looked it up. The Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar right now!

One US dollar is worth $.9883 Canadian.

Every time our dollar gets better than yours our gas prices shoot through the roof, I don't really understand how it all works, all I know is we are up to $5.00 a gallon for premium and I'm thinking of buying a nice electric trolling motor for the mate, even though I don't fish.

That is $58,283.42 Can, I think I would drive to FL to save $15,000.00

Oh yeah...the drive from Ft Walton, FL to Port Orange, FL packs even more bang for the buck...Wildman is ~$9000 cheaper and he's only 430 miles away from Ft Walton. You're paying yourself about $10.00/mile to drive over and buy his boat.

I've always done the boats because I really like putting cool stuff together! The boats are a side business that I do full time. I try to keep the prices low. I don't have to pay floorplan. All my boats are paid for. No employees either. I also have no building overhead.
