it is polyester filler with red hardner good for anywere. the strakes were cut and that is why i had to fix all of this mess, they did a bad job and it was all bondo caused me a headache. might be alittle slower but should run alot better in rough water and when is it ever calm out. I do know terry and have winterized his cig a few times and i know his engine builder kyneth sp. peace out:p
with that in mind have you given much thought about glassing over the filler with 4 ,6 or 8 oz fabric to avoid cracking of any ......or all filler...... on the bottom of the running surface which is just food for thought .
 
this was all glassed before the filler was put in. I ground out to the core and glassed with 1708 and multi layers of mat. that was the problem before one layer of cloth and not overlaped enough.it is very strong now. the filler is only to smooth it out
