2800SX Outboard

JUPITER PULSARE

Well-known member
Since these boats are so rare I thought I'd start a picture thread. These are pictures of only 2800 SX's built in the 1980's with the transom cut for outboard power, not converted I/O's or the new
2800 OBX. Here we go:

My new boat:

The 2800SX for sale in NY:

Bravo 1's 2800SX from this site..under ressurection!

I forgot..the "Bud boat" still exists. It was for sale for a while and bought by somebody. There are pictures somewhere.....

Wow. That thing is going to be sick!

Can't wait to see/hear about the results.

Keep up the good work Bravo.

If you guys keep this up I may have to take the 2 hour drive to the Big Apple and pick up the twin JonnyRude boat!!!:poke:

Git r done....there aint too many of these special Checkmates around...I know my boat is finally going to be a keeper. I've rebuilt enough boats in my lifetime...this one will be the last and the best restoration..the only thing I'll do through the years is upgrade the power till I get to 300XS's!

I Think The Guy Wants 6500 For That One In NY

I think that is what I saw on CL. I am sure that the boat needs work, I would be interested to know how bad it is.

Right now I have the perfect boat for my lifestyle. I can waterski on the river all day or drop the bolsters and head across the Sound to L.I. for a few cold ones and a nice meal with the Wife.

On top of that, I just finished the house and I ain't trying to pick up another project right now!

Sorry :offtopic:

i think i have a new favorite boat now an just so happens i am sitting in brooklyn ny on a tug right now might have to try a track down the one forsale in queens i wounder if it is still forsale

i talked to the owner of boat in ny today i am going to go up to check it and and hopefully buy woohoo cant wait i just finished a full out resto on the little baja the 2.5 on it is completly new with all merc parts and i have another of the same year that needs rebuilt so everything is falling in place even if it does need some work i am game. i am thinking about 12 inchs of set back maybe with a swim deck braket or some hydro plates and finish off that splash well solid across the back or make it a line storage locker or cooler

yea hopefully all goes well i am up for some work the best part is the wife wants it she helped me redo the floor transom and paint the baja just not big on the sanding part but helps with layup.
