If you think you need to change props, let me know, I have several that I am going to sell. If I have what you think you would need, I would bring it along. I will make a list of the props that I have, and post them later today. If anyone is interested, give me a call, and I will bring what they need along. I have several mirage plus props, which run great on Checkmates.

Have you tryed the cheap fix with using a couple bottles of "Heat" from the red bottle? Sometimes, I have had water in the carb that doesn't disappear without a little heat. When I tell my friends that they think I am nuts that such a simple thing would work. But it has worked on several different boats. Especially the old carbs with bowls.

i have put a couple cans of sea foam in it already and no avail went out today and battery went down fast so im thinking its an electrical problem so will be on it tomorrow
 
Nothing worse than working on a boat when its 90*+ outside. Nothing better than riding in a boat when its 90*+ outside!!!! Hopefully I can get the final touches on my rig over the next 3 days. Oil leak, timing, still some glass work to patch. Then I really have not started cleaning it for the year!!!!
 
Just got back from lc,we had a great time but i broke a shifter cable at the ramp.Gotta get it fixed and be ready for the rally!
 
Just got back from the Ohio River with Dogschool in his Convincor. He's ready for the rally. I will be getting my Convincor out of the bat cave tomorrow in order to prep for its first run of the year. Man, I have a lot of work to do.....

Bro, I have a set of 12 1/2 Merc cables- how long do you need them? IF thesze will fit for ya- you can have them- cover shipping.....

I have one ordered,suposed to be here tomorrow.The local dealers around here suck,so i called skinny at marine perfomance headquarters and had no problem getting one ordered.Everyone else said 7-10 days.I have a back up plan,Mike at Checkmate has one that Kip can bring and Harold Kunkle can help to.Thanks fbpd227 for the offer but mine is 17' so they are too short.I will keep you up dated!

GOD!!! I WISH I could be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO jealous!!!!!!!! I WANNA SEE PIX AT LEAST!!!!!!!!!! The biggest "suck" part is- I am only @ 150-200 miles away!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR!
 
OH OH OH, Time is getting close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the camper on the truck and the little old boat ready to go! It is a weird feeling being almost ready ahead of time.
 
Man I wish I could be there, just can't make the 30+hr drive each way work this year, maybe another year, hope everyone has a good time and no break downs.
