They always discount our room but the marina guys never are in the loop. I like it though with the laid back atmosphere. It might be the cheapest vacation I have ever been on but I see how some members get jacked around on their slips. Hoping the parking lot expansion helps to improve the parking for everyone .

I already booked a 2 room suite at Grider and they told me about the discount. Two years ago they lost my reservation for two single rooms and and apologized and gave me two efficiency's for the same price. They were a bit unorganized, but very nice. The place is old, but gives us something to talk and argue about while we are there. Enjoyed every minute!

No worries on them having a covered slip. They always have many. The biggest thing we are talking about is sometimes people get assigned a slip and have to move due to it being reserved for someone else. The marina is not fully computerized so the old school ways cause some mix up at times . They lose track of slip rental and i bet many folks stay free around there. Very nice staff and everyone will get taken care of. With the damage from the snow storm they will be busy for a while getting the marina ready this spring. See ya in July .

All i can say is when digital friends become real friends and you meet all the people behind the nicknames is so cool. Its something i like the most of getting overthere. When you share a passion or like some overhere would call it, a addiction, that connects people.
Boating together is so much more fun!
