Checkmate Weekend Chesapeake Bash 2012. The new Checkmate weekend will be on June 23 & 24 2012. It will be held behind Dobbins Island on the Magothy river in Anne Arundel County, Md. The river is small boat friendly so all size boats are welcome.

Anyone know of any hotels on the water near there that I can dock my boat up at and stay in? Don't really feel like taking my boat in and out every day.

I now have four people coming on my boat and none of us are small so it would be a little tight in the cabin at night. Unless someone backs out.
