I would think Saturday should be the main get together day. Like I said I'll stay till everyone decides to turn in, Then head back on Sunday, might even do Monday. I'll know better when it gets a little closer.

I'm definitely in for a period of time. The variables for me is that since knarloid is going without wife I'm probably going to join with him. Since our 15 yr old son is going cross-country on a teen tour a few days later my wife is probably not gonna join me. Which means me and Kris- which makes me think maybe we just take one bote- which means his new one -which makes me think I'll pick up the overnight tab for us to stay for more than the 24 hr period he was shooting for-which means maybe we'll even just overnight and crash with some newfound family like even Rams large hotelyacht.
Who knows.
Except knarloid keeps threatening to hump my leg if I fall asleep. Life is so complicated. By the way, I snore. Like a freaking dying camel I'm told. So **** you.
Will anybody else be bringing down any scuba gear? Is it a safe call to say there's a few other people interested in waterskiing?

To Sims comments, for the 4hr trip south, I'm on to bring my boat for a few of us and crash over on the saturday night - even if I have to buy a $20 "1-man tent" in Target to crash on the island!!!

I'm interested in spending the days on the water as much as possible...it's why we're here afterall!

As far as i know you can, just not pass the fence they have. I think after dusk when games on you can do what ever.

If that's the case I've got a nylon roof for about 10-14 with a few separate alcoves. Put it up once when I bought it on sale years ago. Never used it since. 3 separate rooms. It's huge.

There is not a tremendous amount of room between the chain fence and waters edge. A lot depends on high and low tide. Might be ok at low tide, little tight at high tide.

I was thinking an inflatable boat tied to the Playmate . Only worried about two things :
1. Jokers untying my bed and drifting out in the bay.
2. sleeping on cold water , could be hard on the back .
Got relatives in Pasadena , probably just sleep in the Chevy .

3 weeks yet ...aarrgghh !
Have the lower in my shop now , ended up w/ the wrong water pump impeller (figures) , the old looks fine though .
Changing gear oil today , if no water in the oil , I'm ready .
(minus the radio's not in yet)

After my test run tomorrow, I will be set to go. Not sure on who will be with me, since the my wife and my buddies wife may now be coming with us. If not, there is plenty of room for others to crash on the "yacht" Either way, there is plenty of space for 2-3 to crash on the top deck if anyone would like. It is open air though... a little al fresco sleeping

I will bring burgers and dogs and we could grill and do lunch on the yacht Sat or Sun or both. If the wives come, there will be plenty of food to go around, if not, well, whatever is easiest

I've finally confirmed that I can head down on that Saturday.

My head has been out of this game, but that weekend is open now for me.

So, it's practical to launch at Kent Narrows and dart across the bay, right?

Man, I have to read up on everyone's plans. The wife is going to want to know that she can get to some facilities at some point.
