Chesapeake Bash 2013 - June 7-10

Yes from up north.going to make it a extended vacation, visit some family in EZ stripers home town and do some boating and partying.

Im just thinking Cape Cod is north. So you'd be going 3hrs past us and then come back 3hrs. Just seems you could come streight to us and knock off 6hrs.

i took that as he was already going to be going to visit people down there and then just pop up and see us along the way!

I could just show up there then go visit.I do have a tent that will pitch right in my boat.Is there any place to tie up? Or do you guys just put your boats on and off the trailer daily? Also is there any watering holes close by?I get very thirsty:cheers:

From the sounds of it there are a couple nice watering holes just around the bend and i also think that there will be a fair share of beverages available at the house with everyone!

You can do either with your boat. I think most will be staying in once in.
Being thirsty has never been a problem I cant solve quickly.

Ram had a pretty sweet lightning if I remember right. Love the Blue Ovals.

Yes, I did have a Lightning. On slicks it would run consistent low 12's with a few of the best times in the high 11's for the 1/4 mile. I also had it setup for track racing! Man, that truck was fun:bigthumb:

Just Checking in(excuse the pon). Becuase of my choice of dates, my little 5 day run down to the bay has ballooned into a about an 10 day 2200 mile round tripper. Thats Kool its been awhile for anything like that.

Having a late spring around these parts, Its going to a challege to get the boat looking as good as I hope between, work, the yard, remolding my moms condo, starting new 2nd Job and amping up the boat all in the next 2.5 months. I think the condo's going to lose and flowers are going in after that weekend. Anyways looking forward to it and meeting some nice poeple too.

I just have a question, I know with all the running around, all the local eats and all the booze, is everyone going to fend for themselfs or something close to that. Or like a menu day or one nice communial meal?
I know its going to be crazy fun and what happens, happens. Just putting it out there.

Take Care, Jeff I wasted as much time as I could-its off to the condo for the afternoon :(

I was thinking we could make a menu. Then everyone could decide what to bring and whos bringing it. One of you guys driving over has to stop and get some Eastern shore sweet corn!
