Chesapeake Bash 2013 - June 7-10

Crabs are on the menu for sure. None of the resturants have their summer menus or events posted yet. I've been keeping an eye out for some entertainment and all you can eat crabs. I know Watermans does really good crabs for cheap but what day isn't posted yet. We could always buy some and eat at the house also.

Steam only. That's the "Land of Pleasant Living" way!

May be to early in the for eastern shore grown corn. What do you think? I was thinking about bulk ordering frozen burgers or steaks. Checked a few on line sights, but I have never ordered from any of those places. Maybe some of you guys know. Let me know. I can also see if I can buy from Sysco foods in Jessup. I know they have a will call desk, but I don't know if they will sell to the public?
Has anyone pitched in for the house yet? Just wondering. Don't care where I sleep. I'm planing on Friday afternoon.

Depending on what our weather does our local sweet corn farm has some pretty good stuff i could stop and grab but they will be pretty hit or miss that early in the year. Ive never had eastern shore corn so dont know how it compares to that. anything else you all might want to come out from the boring mid west just let me know!! we dont have much that compares to what is already on the east coast tho!

I was planning on grabbing a few cases of burgers from Sam's club.

Well burgers are covered. lol
Just thinking out loud what else will we need?
Eggs, bacon, sausage,waffles,pancakes,homefries,syrup,butter?
lunch meats,hotdogs,brats,macaronni,potato,cucumber salads,watermelon,cantalope,tomatoes,cucumbers,onion,cheese,ketchup,mustard,salt,pepper?
plastic silverware,paperplates,napkins,paper towels,toilet paper?
hamburger and hot dog rolls,bread,milk,juice?

Just a quick brainstorm. I'm sure theres things im forgetting but I think that will get us started on who wants to bring what.

Couple yrs back, The biggest seller on a houseboat with 7 hungry firemen was FRANKS HOT SAUCE. When I pulled that out the first Breakfast, You'd thought I brought out a kilo of coke or something. A nice Breaskfast always gets the day going in the right direction!

A case of nati = a dirty thirty
