Interesting..... I grew up not far from Rockaway Beach. Great area to explore the Atlantic from.
First thing I'd want to know is where he dragged his "freshwater boat" to every time he wanted to take it out. I'd also want to know if he dragged his hoist along with him. Just saying.

It is a 253 and I talked with the owner of this boat last spring and I think he wanted $20k. He is an older gentlemen and is selling the boat because he took custody of his grand kid and didn't want him on the boat "messing things up." He also sticker ****ed the boat with 496 magnum which I believe was not the original motor/outdrive combo. The boat is very clean.
 
Nice looking 253........20K is a reasonable price.

That swim platform used to be a picnik table. Bunks look strong enough but isn't it 'apropos' to cover the bunks in some type of
material. There appears to be something going on under the table, are those turbo mufflers or some kind of hefty transom tie down. I wont mention the 'quick release' trailer wiring.

Good chance the JP was bolted on with carbon steel bolts. That thing is just a plain mess. You would think they would atleast wash everything before the pics. If they are that lazy you know all that is left to sell just a $1500 beast.
