If the 251 is not a rotten POS, it's a good deal with the hydraulic steering and rebuilt engine. Doesn't come with the trailer, though. Pixs look descent.....
 
That 251 looks like one that was on ebay as an hurricane Sandy boat. If it is the same one it has been listed many times but never had a phone number listed?
 
The only way you can drive a Miata without me calling you a homosexual is to drop in a ls1. He'll I still may call you one.

The 2100 is about 20 minutes from my house if your interested in someone laying eyeballs on it.

I like the color on that boat, would be nice to see the int.

If you get it for ~$18K and took it to the factory for the gelcoat and rub rail I think you could have a rather nice boat for a great price.

I made the mistake of driving a friends Miata a few times. It was a blast! Most fun car I've driven, even though I had to drive in my bare feet (I can barely fit at 6' 4").
If I lived close to that damaged 2100BR, I'd go take a bunch of pix for the site. I'm not in love with the colors on that boat, but if it has a liner instead of a wood/carpeted floor, I'd make 'em an offer.
 
I can't remember if I work this Saturday or not I'll have to check the schedule when I go up to the main building. If I'm off I'll try to swing out there and snap a few pics.

My vote would be the factory five. My cousin recently bought the kit, went down to Mass. And picked it up himself. He's not really doing a donor build, mostly new. Think he's going with a worked 302 which I think would be more than enough for a machine that light. All the guys doing 429 builds are nuts!

Good grief, I remember that big yellow 301 from back then. Nice find on the Stilleto, I got some pictures of the rear end like I needed. It looks exactly like the one they had up in the shop for restoration back in 2010 I think. Alan would know.
 
that poor 1977 convincer what the hell did it do to its owner. That owner needs to be put away for boat abuse. the boat got so mad that they had to chain it to the trailer with huge chains to keep it from kick the crap out of the owner. I wish I had the money and time to rescue it.
