It's funny, when I bought my 219, only had the 250 hp, the seller told me it would run 70. I actually called checkmate and asked them. They said the 300 hp ones run that fast but most of the carbd ones do not but some do. Man it took a long time and three different props before I even hit 60 on the GPS. There is a 218 on power boat listings that claims 75 with a 300 hp 350. I'm very doubtful. My motor ran really well and didn't see anything close to those numbers.

I was proud owner of Fast94's persuader for 3 years. What a fun boat.
I want to say it was the 270 hp mag and agree it ran great, but best I ever saw was 63 gps. It was always about 6 mph faster than that on the dream-o-meter though. :banana:

the 93 219 persuader I once owned did a best 82.5 GPS but it had just a little more HP than the one in the ad. 461 c.i. , 177 blower w/ 1050 dominator dyno'd @ 601 HP and 655 ft lb torque with a 1:36 ratio bravo 1 and labbed bravo one 26P. the current owner supposedly has passed 90 mph with a bigger blower and more brass in the nuts than me
