Factory 2010 Convincor 270 Pics (Discussion Thread)

Hi Gang,

I thought I'd share some pics that Kip sent over to me.

Pictured is a brand new 2010, 270 Convincor that was recently built for a customer.

As you can see, this 270 has the "Checkered Flag" graphics on it.

Looks great I'd say!

If I'm not mistaken it would be an updated 253 Convincor. Keep in mind the 253 has also undergone a few incarnations.

Mate changed the model name/number to 270 when they changed the numbers to reflect the hull lengths including the swim platforms.

According to CM's website- 425hp max.

I am very surprised Checkmate " Dean & Doug " pulled out some of the well used and what I am sick of looking at the checkered flag Graphics. Come on guys the checkered flag graphic has been around since 98 that I know of. And I hate when the hatch is raised and the top of the back seat raises also. I always hated that on a ZT.

AND NO THE 270 IS N0T NEW AND DOUG HAS NOT MADE A NEW MOLD YET, LOOK AT THE WAVES ON A NEW 300 YOU CAN SURF OFF THE SIDES AND THE DECK

I would say 85mph with the 525 that would be a killer package

As far as the back of the bench raising- I wouldn't own anything that didn't raise up! Its just too damn easy to work on a motor if the back of the bench is outta the way... also it shows off the engine better, imo.

I figured that Checkmate would build whatever the customer wants, thanks for chiming in Kip.
