Finally running for me

Nice. Was this the one with the eyes on the side? If so, you got it for a great price. :bigthumb:

It turns out the eyes on the boat were to hide where the boat had been hit on the stbd side. Small dent, not too bad, I will fix it this winter and probably put a small wrap or decal on it instead of trying to paint match. Maybe a white checkmate emblem or something.

Thanks for all the compliments, only thing I know of the boat is that it was a repossession out of Cincinnati before I bought it. I paid 16.5k for the boat and trailer and I have put another 1500 in it making it sea worthy some of which was trailer/ tire work. New msd ignition box, water pump, alternator, flame arrester etc etc. it appears that a car guy bought it that new engines but didn't know boats and was prob in over his head..I don't know though. Just happy I am getting to the bottom of it, I am sure sitting a while did not help either.

Might as well keep pics coming on this thread to keep me smiling you all should keep posting also, it keeps me motivated to do what I do to these damn boats as I have worked and worked on this thing this year and now I have a gimbal bearing on the way, unmistakable roar started Sunday and the bellows look brand new so I am assuming they were taking on water, replaced the bellows and didn't replace the gimbal :irked:
Some people call me crazy but I let the fiancé and her friend on the boat by themselves for her birthday, she does good but I was nervous..haha then they picked me up and had 3 good days boating fri until Sunday night when the gimbal started roaring.

Friday birthday

Good Look'n Crew You Have There! Hope You Make To Cumberland. You and the Crew stop by the campsite for a Bloody Mary & Margarita or two. The Bar will be always open. :thumb:
