HemiBee's Rare 28' Outboard Convincor

Wow, I can't believe that after 6 mos of waiting I'm finally getting the 28!! If all goes well it should be here by July 3rd/4th. The initial setup will be Mercury 2.4L 200's on 25" mid sections with Bob's nosed coned lower units (it's the most economical way to get the boat back on the water). I think I'm going to remove all the carpet in the cabin and spray the entire cabin and cabin floor in bright white bed liner before re-installing new headliner and the cabinets/bulkheads. I don't want any material that will trap moisture or mildew and I want the ability to easily clean the cabin!! The boat will get aqua buffed and waxed. I'll also tidy up some of the wiring to my standards. Getting the boat back on the water will be first priority...then I can take my time fixing up the cabin. I gotta keep my first mate (wife) happy and she does not want to miss any boating!!!

Jup is it easier to spray the white bed liner than gelcoat inside the cabin? I'm updating my cabin this winter and like to know about the white bed liner stuff.

I work at a GMC truck dealership where they spray bedliners every day. The coating is thicker and tougher than gelcoat with a textured surface. They do make the spray in various colors.
