I'm sure it's a 'shill' deal. No way someone from this site or anywhere in the world will be able to buy a $40k boat for $18k or $20k. No reserve price makes it more fun, but I'm sure he's got a buddy or employee that will bid the boat to the secret 'reserve' price about 5 minutes before end of auction.

It's too bad the man could not tell the difference between an insult from a opinion.
He managed to insult everyone on the site in one post or another
CT had a lot of boating experience and could have been a asset to this site.
He did have some intelligent things to say in between all his negative rap.
CT is now a black sheep without a heard by his own hand.
So well see ya Checkthis I hope you can find a new forum. You have been banned twice and the whole world nows it.
And please take some advice. Don't insult everyone,mock the administrators site and get your self banned like you did here if you like being apart of a online boat club.
Maybe you can join a online chess club instead, Oh that won't work Chris just called Checkmate on your game.

He only lasted 765 posts here. I met him once at a gathering on Long Island. Seemed like a nice guy. I don't get his antics on website forums.:shakehead:

I think from time to time everyone gets upset at someones post or says something to offend someone. I know I have been rubbed the wrong way but only a couple times. I speak my mind about it and move on or appoligize for what I have done and move on. End of story. There is some out there that for some reason, have to ruffle feathers on everything they say. I really don't think he was a bad guy, more that he did not express himself the correct way while typing. We are all opinionated and the older we get the more opinionated we are. Where he crossed the line is insulting people with his opinions time and time again. Its going to happen more with the well known members as they are the ones that post the most. I think everyone brings something to a forum, its a shame he could not control himself here.

I will say I feel left out as I think I am the ONLY member check this never offended:(!!

Brian he directed comments your way too by insulting anyone that bought a used boat and has a restoration. You may have not picked that up and if you did like myself I looked past it as all did.
Restorations and used boats are great you have a chance to make it better and do it your way. I love to see people's talents at work and at this site there is a lot.

Well, if you run into him again tell him- **** YOU!!!! from Ohio for me, would ya?:D

I've pm'd back and fourth with him some in the past. Most recently was with ideas to save some money on rigging that high dollar i/o he was talking about. He has pissed me off a couple of times,too- mostly about others and I've said somthing- but this was the final straw in my book and from the looks of it, Chris's too.

I wonder if he'll be active over on OSO now? He is buying a cruiser this spring from the sounds of it:sick:
