Just rebuilt the top half of the drive and put the motor back in with some new headers :) Sunday was absolutely gorgeous. Going again next weekend. I bought this checkmate last August and I have to say, this is the best running boat Ive ever been in. Enjoy :)

Proud to be part of the Checkmate community. Im One of two on Ky Lake that I know of. Does anyone know when the Rally is on Cumberland Lake?
 
looks like you have the sister boat to barry (lcboater) what power is in it?

Thank you for the welcome. Much appreciated. Its a 2001 model with the 502MPI. I got very close to changing it to a 540 but did not want to sacrifice the turn key power I have now. The prop has been sent out twice and reworked and I think I have it about right. I love working on boats, its to much fun.

i think i remember seeing your boat on OSO and if i recall you traded your 24 outlaw for it....right?
 
This is the boat that keeps getting refered too. Really close twins. You guys better be careful at the rally climbing back in the cabins. Might get surprises:devil:

Yes sir that was me. Traded the 95 outlaw plus 8500 cash which I dont think was a bad deal at all.

LOL thats pretty good. They do look pretty much the same. I cant wait to meet some fellow checkmate owners this year. Will the owners of Checkmate be there also? Ive seen a few pictures of that boat on here a few times. Simply a beautiful boat.
 
There is one like yours with twin I/O that runs 106 mph if I can find the link I will post a couple pics of it.

Lc rally is the weekend of July 14 with most of the activity down around the dam this year. Also. A nice long run to east end of the lake sat. Any? Just pm yf88 or me to and we'll answer!
