Was a special order by Main Marine in Wisconsin. The stripes in the hull were made to match the Promax stripes. The original owner said that Main Marine ordered this package to do all the boat shows, but only got to one boat show before he stole it away. He got the boat before it made it to the Chicago boat show, just had to have it right away

It's not the color scheme that I would have picked, I like the all red with white/black stripe style myself. I had a terrible time talking my self out of spending $32,000 on a new package, and then an even harder time finding a used bow-rider Pulsare. I found this jewel on the 'net, in fact the owner saw a post I had made on the Checkmate factory board. When he sent me pix, I hated the color scheme and didn't pursue it. A few months of hard searching only turned up closed-bow Pulsare, so I re-contacted the owner and had him send me more pix. The new pix he sent showed the boat in a much better light, and I was getting desperate, so I drove to Milwaukee from Michigan and bought it on the spot. He took GREAT care of it. Everyone I come across on the water thinks it's a new boat.

Thanks Jw, your boat looks awesome. I'd like one like that some day, Buddy of mine has same boat with a 200 Yammy on the back, awesome ride, tons of room comfortable, his is all red with black/white accents, a real head turner.

This site is great, thanks Chris. I've only been on for a week or so and can't stay away from it. Every boat I see on this site looks cool. Be'd great to have one big water party somewhere!

With 2002 3.0 225 Mercury.I bought this check in 1995 powered with Suzuki 150ss.I bought the boat not motor!I repowered it in May of 2002 with merc and all new guages plus controls.I also replaced the carpet a few years back.On a good air day this rig easily see 74 on Garmin GPS 12.The best prop so far is the Tempest Plus 25p.

I waited 7 years to say that! With the suzuki 150 I could only see 62 mph on a good day.I hope I dont have to wait 7 years more to hit 80 mph! /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks again 175checkmate

I would make sure there is some added support before going back another 10". I agree it would add a bunch more stress to the transom. It would be interesting to see how it would run set that far back.
