My 76 Trimate II in action

Thanks for sharing the video clips of your Trimate, gives me the itch to get mine out. I will next week if money and time allows ( it's snowing here 35 degree's )
 
Looks like your son was having a great time. He had his eyes on that outboard the whole time. :devil: starting early :devil:

I really think 3 or more trimates lined up on a beach or running across a lake together would be sweet looking

I'm gonna drop mine in the water next sunday weather permitting , How far is Coldwater , MI from you guys ?? it's about 60 min from me ( then 3 could be on the water at the same time ) ;)

Coldwater is about 2 hrs away . Im 20 mins south of detroit and about 20 mins north of toledo. Mine will prolly be going in either tomorrow after noon or sunday . Just for a few mins just to see how she is going to run since I had the motor all apart. I fired it up for the 1st time this year today and it fired right up . Im taking it back up north tomorrow . I got to get it out off the drive way lol.

Where's about in coldwater.I have family with places at waffle farms.Nice chain of lakes.

it was funny running into you at the gas station yesterday lol . I was wondering if you were gunna try and find me lol. soon as I seen your yellow ram I said well I know who that is lol .

I don't have a favorite lake, I pull it to any lake and play when I can.. I was just thinking that the Michigan boys with Trimates might be able to meet me at Coldwater Lake some time ( it was a idea lol ). :)

It would be alittle rough for me too go my boat is way up in alcona county. Which is 200 miles away from my house . Id have to go all the way up to get it then back down . Thats alot of driving . But if I knew before hand arrangments could be made ...
 
Nice video's. Your TriMate looks to be the same colors as mine as well. I am thinking if you can turn a 21 then my V6 should be able to. Thinking of a Laser II 21 pitch. Do you have any slip on turns ?

Yes I do get slip from my motor as well . I did have a hydrofoil on last year and it really helped rode higher and turned sharper and didnt cavatate as bad . But its just the design of the hull they turn so sharp so fast .

I know a friend that his dad had a 24 pitch quick silver / chopper style prop with his inline 6 150 Black Max he ran 60's

I ran a 23 p ss and was not happy with it at all . I found the old aluminum 21p in a box of stuff I had got with the boat and put that on there and it did just what I wanted it too (I had mine out on the water this afternoon) :surf:
