Hello all I just bought my first Mate last week and I can't wait for a break in the weather. I'm tired of driving it in the garage. I picked up a 93 235 Persuader 465 hp 502. I'm looking for others that will be at Higgins Lake , Saginaw Bay or Traverse City this summer. Looking forward to a nice long boating season .Be safe and see ya out there.

live in traverse city:thumb: out on the bay most weekends;) shoot me a message when you will be around and we will meet up:cheers:

Welcome to the Obsession! Did you buy the white and red one? That is a nice boat if it is, I knew one of the previous owners. There are a ton of Checkmates that congregate on the Saginaw River also and we have a gathering usually in August here. Now lets see some pics!

We make it to Higgins at least a couple times each summer. We'll be there for sure over July 4th. We have the all white 300 Convincor

I took the Persuader out to Lake Fenton last week and froze my eyes shut but it was worth it to finally be able to drive her. I'm planning on many trips to Higgins Lake this summer. we'll have to meet up sometime. Thanks Jeff

the bays never froze this year, i plan on getting the boat wet in the next week or so:thumb:

We are on TC bay, torch or elk just about every weekend after the kids are out of school. I no longer have the check. New boat is white with a big navy band under the rub rail. You've got to get to the torch lake sandbar. Be sure to keep an eye on the wind if you're going to to the bay - I've gotten stuck going home in 4+ footers not real fun in a 23' boat - not for me at least.

What's been done to your 502?

Ross -where do you launch from when you hit the bay? We need to figure it out and meet this year - now that you're old and married you can hang out with and old fart family guy.
