Looking on info on how to run the wires and fuel line to the merc from the splash well. I so far have bulkheads for the steering and will have braided stainless lines. Now to figure out the wiring and fuel.
Maybe another AN bulkhead and braided line for the fuel line??
Then wrap the wires in flex loom????
Not really wanting to come out of the side of the splash but the front straight back to the motor.

Rigging? What rigging? You need to do it like this. I hid ALL of it in these two hoses on my predictor. I think you can still get them at eddie marine. I later figured out a way to attach the hoses to the cowl to give it a flush look.

I am guessing that you somehow used a set of the flanges on the cowling??

I made a bracket with a couple small bolts facing downward that I used to catch the hoses. They were pretty simple. Just enough to keep the hoses in place. I used a nut on the bottom but a pin of sorts would be better. I am sure you will come up with something.

I did something like illMATTic did but~ having limited resources~ I went to Lows/Menard's/Home depot , I used plastic ~ shop Vac hose~ it looks real close to the same. I ran it through the large dia holes that were in the splash well from factory.

Thanks guy's, I was going to ask this same ? now I don't have to. I have quite the mess going on in my splash well.

2nd pic shows how I ran the steering cables through the top deck and used a chrome shell to cover it.

Hey YF, this is what I came up with so far, found a zipper rigging sleeve from TH marine that works great for one side but is only 28" and is to short for the other side, the next size up is 48". I wraped the fuel line and shift-throttle cables in some snap-on wire protecter that I had in the garage but I don't like the way it looks, I think I'm gonna order the longer zipper one for the other side. It looks kind of grey in the pic but I think that's just from the flash, it is black and made of sunbrella

If you run the fuel line inside one of the hoses I assume your primer bulb is behind the back seat? Does that seem to work out ok? I'd have thought that would make it inconvenient, but maybe not.

You only have to pump it at the beginning of the day. Most times if you go outa couple days in a week it doesnt need to be pumped at all. At least mine didnt.

i used sump pump hose ! cheap 20' coil,different dia. too !

I went to a shop that sold stuff for tractors. they sell this stuff that you can spiral around all of the wires, comes in a lot of different sizes and works real well. I think it is used to protect hydrolic lines on heavy equipment.
