Polished CLE 2 hole

i'm assuming since i have no idea what it is i have no use for it. but for those who might........:needpics:

googled it.......swept lower unit:p

Posting pics is easy. Start a free photobucket account, load your pics there, open the folder that has the pics you want to post, when you move your mouse over a pic you will see four address codes, click on the bottom (IMG code) to copy the address. Then all you need to do is paste it in your thread in the reply box. good luck

i guess i'm not too good with abbreviations. i only know a few......lmfao, rotglmfao, wtf,gtfooh etc:thumb:

I, too, have never heard of a CLE, but after reading the description I had a pretty good idea, and after looking at the pics I was right, but what does CLE stand for, because I've never heard it called that.

No not yet the boat I built it for I didnt use much if you leave it in the water and your worried about scum getting to it just give it a nice clear coat or a buttload of polish but it has to be good polish or else that stuss will get thru it I have seen guys clear coat them but I like to keep mine polished this one could be much much brighter if you wanted to polish on it just a lil more I have seen them like mirrors

Your preaching to the chior, It was a loaded question. I know what it takes to have a polished lower. Yrs ago wildman stated something about he was busy polishing lowers. So you have to know those ended up with a mirror finish.

I know that the 2 holes are miniscuelly(?) faster then the 5 holers.

CLE stands for "Crescent Leading Edge"...in other words: a gear case with a curved leading edge vs straight leading edge.

Bling

The polished lowers are just for " Bling " You will never see a serious Drag Boat with a polished lower. However I kinda likes the Bling so I polish the snott out of mine but after one day in salt water it needs it again.:brickwall:
