I don't know yet... the previous owner says I'll end up selling my 24, cause it rides so nice- we'll see. I haven't had it out since I've been homeMan i like old school boats like that, that thing is sharp lookin!! Has kind of a cross between the old 21' Cigarette 1 and a Classic Donzi look to it, bet it rides like a much bigger boat! How does it handle the rough stuff? Cool boat!!
I don't know yet... the previous owner says I'll end up selling my 24, cause it rides so nice- we'll see. I haven't had it out since I've been home. He has owned 3of these 21ft Superboat Legends. Two outboards and this i/o. Says that the i/o rides really well. It has 21* of deadrise and a small pad, so it should. He also was running it with about 150lbs of sandbags for weight in the nose.
Has anone ever used black carpet in a boat... I started to take out the snap in carpet, and found the backing was sticking to the floor in spots. It started coming apart- the worst part is the carpet is in great shape, but the backer is getting rotten from age. I'll have to get a new one made, but at least I have a template for who ever does the new carpet. Black would look great with the red seats and black trim on the inside- imo. I just can't recall ever seeing a black carpet in a boat... I don't think it would be that much worse than any other dark color as far as heat goes. Any recomendations on who to use for the snap in carpet?
