Well Ive been looking at a local checkmate for about a week now, finally me and my father went and picked it up this morning! Im super excited!

But a little info about me, My name is Ross, live in Greenville, SC Im 24, other hobbies include tinkering with cars, fishing, RC airplanes, and pervious boat was a 96 Baja Islander 180.

Now the important part! Boat is a 73 model I believe it is an Eluder but not 100% positive, original Mercury 150.

Thanks for welcome guys! Trust me Im ready to start enjoying it!

If it's a '73, than it's most likely a TRV17 not an Eluder. ;)

I do know it is a 73 model, so must be a TRV17 thanks for the info (I tried to figure out what model judging from pics on here and stuff) haha

Is it 17' long?

There are actually two TRV models, so if yours is 17' long, and it's a '73 than you most likely know what you've got. :)

Cool boats and similar to the later Trimate models. :)
