smilemaker 1

hello there! my 85 check enchanter flys the beautiful chesapeake bay on virginias eastern shore. we have a little club we call "the damned fools club" and captain morgan is our mascot. that came to be when i first bought my check, and during the first ride, my friend said that the corners of my mouth were touching my ears, and my smile looked just like capt morgs, and so the name smilemaker fit perfect. the fools came from us boating year-round 24/7, and been known to break ice to get out there. since then there have been several more smilemakers, 2,3, and 4. 2 is my 23 tunnel. wish i could figure out how to post the numerous picks of the capt morgan-like smiles of my friends. :cheers :)

whoops

i didnt know i typed all that crap. guess i took a ride with the captain morgan on the computer one night at my desk. darn comp drives me crazy. just get carried away with the fun of going fast and wanting to show piks and dont know how. now you know why im the president of our club, the damn fools. sorry about that.

whoops

too much octane that night. just cant seem to show my pics without the roostertail out the mouth. dont know how i got that pic of cambridge on:pissed: here, because ive got some good flying pics. hope ive not worn out my welcome and thanks for the opportunity. maybe some day ill learn this comp, and show the good ones. till then, ill keep catching the smiles on my cameras. thanks

blame it on super dave

i guess that the reason i talk all that sh-- is because of the embarrasment of the fact that i have to be seen on the highways, pulling a classic checkmate speedboat with a 75 horsepower 4 stroke on it. people dont look down at the gearcase with nosecone, and notice the 4 blade cleaver, and wonder how a 75 would turn that, or why its always missing chunks, and the plier marks around the edge of each blade(daves special cup). fool takes the vice grips to a new 500$ prop and gives me 5mph extra. once im in the water its all ok, because im ready to be the laughing stock. hey va boy, wanna race? sure.
the humiliation that they get is worth every mile to the creek. next summer were going 3 litre, and my knees are already shaking in my dreams.
