So as I winterize my boat and tuck it into the garage for the winter, I am thinking about what I would like to change/upgrade for the next season. This year I added a 6 inch CMC power lift jack plate, a new stereo system, and a bunch of LED lights on the trailer.

What do you have planned for next season???

New vinyl for the interior and 2" spacers to give me a total of 10" setback, I've got the interior all out now and trying to be patiant waiting to here from Mike that the new skins have been shipped, not that I can use the boat anytime soon:brickwall: I'll definatley have a few adult beverages out in the garage dreaming of spring.

As if spending over $10k on new wiring, gauges, throttle, fresh motor and so so much more wasn't enough, I'm going to have a Imco lower installed, Lenco HD trim tabs and fresh painted graphics done this winter. Next winter will be external steering and much more power!

My 20 yr old interior lights just took a dump so I"m thinking some new rope or led lighting in the cabin. I'm thinking a stereo that I can hear while I'm riding, some pretty new gauges and fresh bumpers.

Winter, are you going with a shortie? If so, how much shorter?

The 24 is getting full hyd steering. I've gotten another cylinder and both of them are in Florida getting rebuilt by Marine Machine.. also, they are going to beef up my wingplate some. I have the hose kit and helm in my attic.. I need a post assy, and might need a resivior. Its looking like I'll swap the 110 K-planes for a new set of 280 K-planes. If that happens I'll get some mech indicators- no more guessing about tab position.. :surf: I need to get the swim platform re-powdercoated.. the grip tape is coming up in a spot or two and the powdercoating will pull up with it- so I figure time to get it done. Staying with the black, probably. I might have a little glass work done in a spot or two that bugs me and also around the steering post (guess when you go full hyd, it leaves a little gap most the time)

The 21 needs some black snap in carpet to finish off the boat.:thumb:

I really, want to do a shorty on the 21 (an imco -3"), but $ ain't looking good at the moment... yeah, like it ever looks good when boats are your thing :(

While I would like to upgrade a few things on the Enforcer, like add an aluminum plate behind the gil bracket, led lights for the trailer..etc. I'm not doing shizzle this winter!!!! I've done two back to back restos, so holding off until next winter.:D The other factor is I'll be out of town alot with work.

Plan on working hard at my 2 jobs, Paying down my kitchen so hopefully I can go boat shopping sooner than later!:bounce:
Oh! and as for the starflite, It is what it is!

Thinking about upgrading the stereo in the tow-pig. Can do that during the freezing months. Definitely going to lift the motor and remount it all the way up, four winns always builds the transom too short so the outboards are buried too deep. I wanted to do that before the temps got too cold for the 3M5200 to set properly, now I'll have to wait until spring :shakehead:

Continue my search for a 4-7 year old mint 2100BR to replace the tow-pig, while still considering that mint Vegas XT instead.

I have already sent my prop to Merc Racing to be blueprinted and Labbed, in fact it just got back to the dealer... can't wait to see it.

I bought a boat right before the season ended. Im in the middle of a full resto.. Already replaced stringers, transom, deck, and added kneebraces. Have to put the splashwell back on and start fabbing an interior....
Fun times

150 blackmax or maybe 200 depends on whats available.:D

My 200 black Max might be for sale here soon being that my winter plans are to move up to a 3.0.

Also, all new Livorsi gauges, some touch up on the exterior finish and add 6" of set back. Maybe some other little things here and there. Whatever will keep me busy till next summer!!

For sure......

1) 3.0 Merc
2) 10" setback
3) Beefed up transom
4) 25-26P prop
5) New boat cover
6) Polish, Polish , Polish
7) BOTM in June, July, and August

Maybe..........

1) New gauge set
2) Steering
3) Re-finish the trailer

Jamie at lakeside only rec. a 2" Imco. Thing is, i like to rip through some chop now and again and don;t want to air out the prop. I'm after some speed but this is really something that i want in place before going bigger on the motor. Yeah, it's a very expensive part for not a ton of gains :irked: But if i get a bit of a rooster tail out of it, it's money well spent :rof:
