Wiring diagrams

Anyone have or know of a place to get some wiring diagrams for a 1999 Mercury 175 EFI? I want to look over the wiring harness on the engine. The previous owner re-powered with this engine, and there are some wires that are just hangin out. Any help would be great. Thanks!

That manual it great, but I think it is for a newer engine than mine. I'll see of some of the wiring harness are the same though. Thanks again for sending it

The manual is for years 1990 thru 2002. I'll double check that this afternoon.

A CLYMER MANUAL HAS COLOR WIRE DIAGRAMS.THEY RANGE FROM 35$ TO $45. SOME COVER A CERTIAN ENGINE AND SOME COVER SEVERAL.I USE THEM ALMOST EVERDAY @ MY SHOP.IF I HAD ONE FOR YOUR MOTOR I WOULD SEND YOU WHAT YOU NEED. IF YOU CANT FIND ONE I CAN SHIP YOU ONE.IM GOING TO LOOK CAUSE I HAVE A MANUAL FOR THE MERCURY JET BOAT ENGINE,AND SOMETIMES THE POWERHEAD IS THE SAME.

Sounds good. I'll look into that manual. I didn't find any online the other day. I didn't look to long so maybe some more research will find one.

I'll post some pics later on today of the wires

Here are the pics of the wires.

The first wire comes from this box. It is a tan wire





The next one is a brown wire coming out of the engine harness plug




Here is a yellow with black tracer wire that is cut on the engine harness




This tan with blue tracer isn't connected to anything and it looks like it runs to this box on top of the engine

Are these sensors for temperature alarms? Can you ground these wires out to test the alarm?

Got it all figured out. Big thanks to Robbie (cmpulse170) for sending me the wiring schematics and manual. I just bought a tach and temp gauge, so the manual came in handy for wiring those up to.
