CHECKMATE WEEKEND CHESAPEAKE BASH 2014

Looking great guys.

Thinking we might tie this in with a week we are planning in NC. So we'd go to this weekend, then head south on the Monday or Tueday for the rest of the week.
Does anyone know of anywhere I could park up the Starliner for the rest of the week around Annapolis and then pick it up as I head for home?
Just don't need the boat in NC for the week and wouldn't have anywhere to park it at our friends house that we're visiting there.

I would say you could park it at my place but its street parking only. I get two small spots in front of the house but the rest is street parking. I leave my boat at the marina year round.

thanks

thank you. im from Middletown, pa. near Harrisburg, pa. I was at a checkmate poker run in ohio in 2005...... I was at lake raystown last summer and saw a guy with a checkmate and we got to talking and he was also there in 2005. so when I got home I pulled out my pics and video of the event, it brought back nice memories. ken, 1-717-979-0852.

Welcome, I'm from western pa. Just north of Pittsburgh. If your serious about coming we could meet up along the way and convoy down.

:brickwall::brickwall:I am starting to think that some force out there does not want me to bring my boat. I cant win for loosing. I order parts that they say are in stock but as soon as I click the pay button they all go on back order and this happened more than 3 times. not paying attention to what I was doing for a second and I break a crank seal ring. order new reads and get the wrong ones. now have to wait another 5 or 6 days to get parts in to finish the first motor. I sure hope luck turns around and I am able to bring the boat this year. :brickwall::brickwall:

The 281. I bought two motor s for it and one needed to be rebuilt so I decided it was time to do everything. New paint on boat and the motor s. Plus rebuild both motors plus some other things here and there.

Nothing ever goes smooth when your workng on stuff... Esp boats. Hang in there and good luck.

I hear you. I just would really like to have it this year for the bash and pressed for time with the amount of work I have to do.

Demag, If you don't have your boat ready and wanted to get down there by boat, I was thinking of taking my boat down from the Delaware assuming the weather was OK. It would be a long but fast ride:) I wasn't planning to stay at the house because my cousin leaves near by but was wanting to join in the day/evening festivities.

Keep it as an option because there will be plenty of room and lots of fun cruising the waterways!

chuck, thanks much for the offer but I have the wife and two little ones traveling with me, I would love to do that trip again, we did from Croydon to jellyfish joels on the fairlee creek and it was awesome. I think jln is going to be joining us for a day, always nice to travel with another boat if you want to hit him up. If I could afford to feed two 300's I would boat down with you if its together. if it isn't done I will have to borrow a boat again. thanks again
